DARREN SOO Journal 1 1. Define Church Mystics. Church mystic is based on the unity with god, Mysticism is a tradition based on their belief and gives them a better understanding of god. 2. How does Mysticism affect people in the Middle ages till today's society? Gives people the opportunity of praising god and bringing them closer to their god/belief. It affects today society because there are more Christians and catholics who all believe in the same god Jesus. 3. Evaluate the strengths and weakness of mysticisms. The strength of mysticisms are basically bringing yourself closer to god and respecting your religion more then ever such as never putting your god's name in a negative way. Some weakness of mysticisms is that you may find it hard to share with others such as your friends. They might not be interested and you may get insulted even though they didn't mean it.
